Comcast to wind down Irish telco Blueface, despite having invested €32m since takeover

Move by global giant is likely to result in the loss of 100 Irish jobs

Comcast, the American cable TV and telecoms empire, is set to wind down its Irish telecoms-over-internet business Blueface – despite having pumped over €32m into the firm since it was bought in 2020.

Blueface’s main business is providing telecoms-over-internet services to businesses, and it had gone international even before the Comcast takeover.
