Open Day at ATU Sligo and ATU St Angela’s College this Saturday

ATU Sligo and ATU St Angela’s will once again open their campuses to the public as they welcome prospective students and their families to Open Day on Saturday 20th April, from 10am-1pm.

Open day is an important event in the academic calendar as it’s an opportunity to discover the wide range of CAO study options on offer in Sligo for 2024.

As students make their final choices for university, they can speak with academic staff who deliver on the 180+ courses across both campuses in the areas of Business and Social Sciences, Engineering and Design; Science; Education, Home Economics; and Nursing, Health Sciences and Disability Studies. Professional services support staff will also be on hand to offer helpful advice and answer any questions relating to admissions, fees and funding, optional pathways, students support, disability and learning support, global and Erasmus+ opportunities and much more.

Student ambassadors will also provide guided campus tours to view the many facilities available to all ATU students as they embark on their exciting university journey.

A free shuttle bus service will operate between Sligo and St Angela’s campuses on the day allowing visitors to experience both settings. Additional buses will tour the purpose-built student villages which surround ATU Sligo’s campus as well as the new Yeats Academy of Arts, Design and Architecture (YAADA) facility.

A Sligo Discount Sheet for open day guests will allow a discount of up to 15% at various coffee shops, restaurants and clothes shops in Sligo, Strandhill and Rosses Point.
