Michael (Mixer) Mulhall from Tara Hill, Gorey was a great character and will be dearly missed in his community.

Mixer as he was known fondly to so many, passed away on Tuesday, April 23.

He was the beloved husband of Noelle, loving son of Ann and the late Michael, brother of Fergal, Cormac, Enda, Áine and Niall.

Mixer was a very popular man and well-liked around north Wexford. He was raised in Tara Hill and spent a lot of time at Ballymoney Beach and Castletown. He was heavily involved with the Tara Vale Swimmer’s Christmas swim and the Tara Vale Golf society.

Many heartfelt tributes poured in on RIP.ie: “No matter how bad day I was having in work when Mixer landed in the yard, travel mug in hand, you knew you’d be laughing in no time with the chats and stories he had. Also knew that there wouldn’t be much work done for the next few hours chatting. A man that will be very much missed. Thoughts with all the family at this difficult time.”

Another mourner wrote: ”Noelle, Mrs Mulhall and all the family, we are so deeply sorry for your loss. Mick was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many. May you find strength and solace in the memories you shared together. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam.”

“So sorry to hear of the sad passing of mixer. He was one of a kind. He had time for everyone, adults and children of all ages, they loved him. You couldn’t be in a bad humour when you met mixer as he lifted everybody’s spirits and made you laugh with some sort of a story or other. Thinking of all his family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.”

Mixer is deeply regretted by his wife, mother, brothers, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, extended family, relative, neighbours and friends. His funeral mass took place at St. Kevin's Church, Tara Hill on Thursday, April 25.
