Cork set to be without star centre back Ciaran Joyce for crunch clash with Limerick

Ciaran Joyce is a regular at number six for Cork.

Cork won't have their dynamic centre-back Ciaran Joyce available to them for Saturday's key Munster SHC round robin game All-Ireland champions Limerick in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Joyce has been left out of the Cork squad named today because of an apparent hamstring injury, robbing the Rebels of one of their biggest influences.

Cork must win the game to stay alive in the championship and are coming off the back of two successive defeats to Waterford and Clare.

Joyce's place on the team is taken by Mark Coleman, who was a substitute against Clare, with Rob Downey making a positional switch to centre-back.

Otherwise the starting team named stays the same though further changes can't be ruled out ahead of throw in.
