Tension between Netherland and Israel was seen after a journalist asks Israel if they are endangering the contest for other participants. Netherland was seen with their country's flag over their head when Israel started fielding questions. When the journalist asked the Israel Eurovision entry on their thought of endangering and causing risk to other entries in the Eurovision, the moderator told Israel they were free to refuse to answer the question.
