Q I am planning to rent out my home on Airbnb over the summer. I will be out of the country myself at the time so it will be a handy way for me to make a few bob. If my guests damage my home in any way, will my home insurance cover it?
A Under standard home insurance policies, you usually will not be covered for any damage caused to your property by paying guests, including guests renting out your home through Airbnb, said Paul Walsh, spokesman for Peopl Insurance.
