The Department of Agriculture has announced a research call for an ‘urgent’ review of a new soil test to determine phosphorus levels as the current test is deemed ‘insufficient’ for some soil types.

In Ireland, the Morgan’s extractable test is used to determine soil P & K index for agronomic advice and evaluation of environmental risk.
