Well-known entertainer and bar owner Rory 'Panti Bliss' O'Neill shares the story of his frightening HIV diagnosis in 1995, and describes how he now has 'the same chance as anybody else to live a long and healthy life.'

Rory O'Neill told Independent.ie that his diagnosis of HIV in 1995 was a 'death sentence'. Fortunately it wouldn't be long before vital drugs would be developed, allowing him to look forward to a long future.
