Saturday night’s programme at Tralee Track was dominated by sweepstake action and €1,000 was claimed by the Liam O’Callaghan-trained Outdoor Cracker in the final of a 525 sweepstake for Novice 3 class.

Our headline last week said that Chris Houlihan’s two finalists might have to give way to Outdoor Cracker, but it was, in fact, the Lixnaw-owned Pennylane View which chased him home three lengths adrift in 29.04, with Houlihan’s Cashen Felicity five lengths back in third place.
