Staff happy for company expansion but hopeful of staying in Drogheda

Staff of Flogas, which has had its headquarters in Drogheda for 38 years, were shocked by the announcement on Friday morning that the main office is to move to Dublin Airport.

Speaking anonymously to the Drogheda Independent, whilst expressing delight that the company is doing so well necessitating expansion, some said they were disappointed that a larger premises couldn’t be located in Drogheda, saving them a commute out of the town.
