Meath used preparation time well ahead of Laois tie, says manager Shane McCormack

The gap between the end of the NFL campaign and the start of the Leinster championship was a welcome one, according to Meath manager Shane McCormack, as he spoke following the win over Laois at Páirc Tailteann on Sunday.

As well as getting in plenty of preparation for the championship, there was also an opportunity to assess the strength of his squad in the run up to the Laois tie.
