Diageo to increase price of Guinness again next month

The price of a pint is set to rise by about 10 cent next month, as Diageo another price increase.

While the drinks company described this latest increase as necessary “to maintain a sustainable business”, publicans are describing it as a “hammer blow” to an industry that’s already trying to turn the tide of a fairly sharp decline.
