House in Co Wexford ransacked after back door left unlocked
A house in Clonattin, Gorey was ransacked on the evening of Sunday, April 28.
A house in Clonattin, Gorey was ransacked on the evening of Sunday, April 28.
The occupant of the house left the house at 8p.m. that evening and returned at 11p.m.
Their kitchen had been ransacked and a quantity of cash was taken. No damage had been caused to any property as the burglar had entered through the back door which had been left unlocked.
Gardaí are urging people to lock up their properties and to activate alarms.
