GAA action

Well done to the Gusserane intermediate hurlers who clocked up a big score to defeat Geraldine O’Hanrahans in their league game in New Ross on Friday night last. The junior footballers had also won their contest with the Gers the previous week to maintain their unbeaten record in the league.

Well done meanwhile to Darren Rossiter and Mitch Cullen who were part of the Weford set up that recorded a superb win in the minor football championship against Meath during the week. Darren followed this up with an impressive win over Kilkenny in the minor hurling three days later where he rattled the net two times.

Well done also to Amanda Power, Aoife Cullen and Shaune Hackett who all featured in Wexford’s intermediate championship win over Wicklow recently and were also part of the Wexford victorious set up against Offaly last weekend.

But pride of place these days go to the Gusserane Feile girls. They won the camogie final and were beaten in the final of the football last weekend. The future is bright.

Option 1- Race sponsorship There are 9-12(TBC) races on the night, and each of these races is €400 to sponsor. Your company or organisation would have the race named after you and you would also have the option to present the winning dog on the night with pictures taken for social media and news outlets. You could also decide not to do this and we would ask a club member to do the presentation for you. You would also get 2 tickets to have the full dining experience on the night which includes full table service including betting without having to leave your table.

Option 2- Raffle sponsorship On the night of the event we will be hosting a raffle and we will be looking for sponsorship of prizes for this raffle and we would greatly appreciate any prize big or small.

Option 3- Ticket entry This is simply buy a ticket for the night for €10 and just turn up and enjoy the night with the rest of your community and hopefully buy a few raffle tickets. We consider the club and its grounds to be an important hub for the community and would really appreciate your support.
