Wexford manager Keith Rossiter couldn’t argue with the assertion that the hurlers may have a soft underbelly when it comes to putting away teams that they would be expected to beat, with Saturday’s defeat in Belfast bringing back bad memories of the calamitous collapse against Westmeath last term.

“History has proven that. If you go back to last year, it happened, and it’s happened this year now as well. On paper things are different. That’s not a bad Antrim team either,” he said.
