The Wexford hurlers were clearly hurting after suffering a demoralising first-ever Leinster Senior championship defeat against Antrim in Corrigan Park.
The choice after that painful blow to the solar plexus was simple – come out fighting and prove the doubters wrong or wallow in self-pity and let the niggling doubts dictate the course of your season.
