Gorey Celtic captured the Division 5 crown on Friday evening with a 5-1 win in Camolin.

Jake Cassidy opened the scoring for the visitors midway through the first-half, but Colin Beasley levelled matters for Camolin in the 57th minute.

The soon-to-be champions finished strongly, however, and Gracjan Dettlaff equalised with 20 minutes remaining, Frankie Switon made it 3-1, Cassidy grabbed his second, and Eric Valentine scored their fifth goal to ensure they won the silverware in style.

Fastnet Rovers secured runners-up spot with 2-1 win over Tombrack United in Rathangan on Sunday. Goals from Joe Colfer and Danny Price gave them a two-goal advantage at the break and, although Aidan Mahon pulled one back in the 79th minute, they held on to take the points.

Ferns United finished their campaign with a 1-0 win over local rivals Tombrack United in Clone on Wednesday evening.

Mark Rossiter got the only goal of the game in the 13th minute.

Two goals from Diarmuid Moore saw All Blacks fight back to win 3-2 away to Bree United on Tuesday of last week. Oisín Cloke-Rochford fired the home side in front in the 20th minute and, although Fionn Mulligan equalised before the break, Cloke-Rochford grabbed his second just before the hour mark to edge Bree in front.

Moore took centre stage, however, and two goals in the space of six minutes earned the visitors the win.

All Blacks picked up another victory on Friday evening as they saw off Corach Ramblers 4-2 at Casey Park.

Greg Troy, Seán Kehoe, Diarmuid Moore and Fionn Mulligan scored for the Mayglass side, with Seán Mac Roibín and Dylan Murphy replying.

Castledockrell picked up another point on Sunday as they drew 3-3 with Wexford Celtic at Sinnottstown Lane.

James Taylor (two) and Martin Boland scored for the visitors, with Fran Hore (two) and Paul Bailie netting for Celtic.
