Friendships rekindled as Polish students pay return visit to Wexford school

Friendships were rekindled and stories shared as Bridgetown College welcomed students and teachers from Plock, Poland for a return visit after their Erasmus trip in December. In total, 12 students and two teachers came to Wexford for ten days and during their stay they were treated to tours of Wexford town, a visit to Johnstown Castle. Waterford Walls and the Museum of Time.

The theme of the Erasmus project was wellbeing, and in keeping with that the students enjoyed a yoga workshop, Irish music and dancing and a Gaelic games taster event.

“The students made lasting friendships and links with their guests, and some are planning a return trip to Poland in the future,” said Bridgetown College teacher Mary Fitzgerald.
