Galway win by a point to retain the Connacht title!

What a dramatic finish. The home fans pour onto the Pearse Stadium pitch as referee David Gough blows the final whistle.

Mayo looked like they had done enough to see the game out, but Galway didn't drop their heads and kept going deep into injury-time.

That's three in a row for the Tribesmen.

It's over the bar! Galway are in front as their 'keeper finds the posts with a free off the ground.

Huge pressure on that one.

And Galway have won a free in!

This could be the last kick of the game. It's Connor Gleeson to take...

The ball is played into Comer, but the referee brings play back to allow substitutions.

Brilliant play by Conroy. He goes past a couple of Galway players and fists the ball over.

From a more difficult angle, Gleeson tries his luck again but it drops short.

However, Matthew Tierney catches the ball and lays it off to Rob Finnerty, who shoots over.

All-square.

The Galway 'keeper comes up the field to kick a free off the ground.

Just the one point between them with a little over ten minutes remaining.
