Throughout the country yesterday, club grounds were hosting All-Ireland League promotion and relegation play-offs.
There was jeopardy in every game. Great seasons with a high win percentage could ultimately end in failure and a season spent in a dogfight to avoid relegation can be saved with one brilliant performance.
