Skeletons with missing limbs found under Nazi commander Goering’s bunker

No traces of clothing or jewellery were found, suggesting the victims were looted and stripped naked before being buried.

Skeletons missing their hands and feet, including one of a baby, have been discovered beneath the former home of Nazi commander Hermann Goering.

German and Polish archaeologists made the discovery while digging in the Wolf’s Lair in Poland, a complex of bunkers and ruins which once served as a forest headquarters for Adolf Hitler’s inner circle.
