Two people airlifted to hospital following Kerry crash

Two people have been airlifted to Cork University following a serious car crash on the Ring of Kerry Road.

The road between Killorglin and Glenbeigh has been closed this Friday evening, April 27 following the two-car collision which occurred between Killorglin and Glenbeigh.

Both of the injured were removed from the scene by Ambulance with Rescue 115 tasked to take one of the injured to Cork University hospital. They have now completed this task.

No further details are available on the collision.

This is one of Kerry’s busiest routes and traffic delays are expected.

The road is due to reopen this evening.
