Mary Louise Pearce becomes new president of Wexford Soroptimists

Mary Louise Pearce has been appointed as president of Soroptimist International Wexford for 2024/25 at a special ceremony in the Riverbank House Hotel. Outgoing SI Wexford President Sue Karran presented Mary Louise with the chain of office and said she is “delighted Mary Louise has accepted this important role”.

“Mary Louise has been a member of SI Wexford for five years and brings a wealth of experience to the position,” she added.

Having received the chains, Mary Louise said, “Soroptimist International Wexford is a highly active community-based club that seeks to educate, empower, and enable women and girls to be the best version of themselves, and I'm really looking forward to moving the organisation forward In the best way I can.”

Soroptimist International Wexford meets on the first Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at the Riverbank House Hotel at 7 p.m., and welcomes new members and observers.
